Indonesia Visa Options: e-VOA and Visitor Visa

There are 2 short-stay options available through the same system:

  1. e-VOA: for stays of up to 30 days
  2. Visitor Visa: for stays of up to 60 days

You do not need to choose the visa type yourself. Just complete the same online form, and our team will select the correct option based on the length of stay you enter.

Who Can Apply for an Indonesia Visa Online?

If your nationality is not visa-exempt, you must have a valid visa to enter Indonesia.

Many travelers are eligible to submit an Indonesian visa application online. If you’re not eligible, you may need to apply at an Indonesian embassy before traveling.

How to Apply for an Indonesian Online Visa

You can apply for your e-VOA or Visitor Visa by following these simple steps:

Step 1: Complete the digital application form

Our application form is short and easy to complete. Most travelers finish it in a few minutes.

Each traveler must submit a separate Indonesia visa application, including children and infants.

Step 2: Pay the processing fee

After completing the form, you can pay the application fee using a credit or debit card.

The payment is made online as part of the same process. Once payment is confirmed, your application is sent for processing.

Step 3: Receive your Indonesian visa by email

When your application is approved, your digital visa is sent in PDF format to the email address you provided.

You can then download your Indonesian visa online and keep a copy on your phone, or print it for travel.

The requirements are the same for both the e-VOA and Visitor Visa, with just one additional requirement for each.

You must have the following:

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months
  • Digital passport-style photo
  • Email address
  • Credit or debit card

Extra PDF documents

Each visa option has an additional requirement:

  • e-VOA: PDF proof of return or onward flight
  • Visitor Visa: PDF proof of sufficient funds

Indonesia Online Visa Processing Times

Most Indonesian visa online applications are processed quickly. All travelers receive a response within 2 days.

Priority processing for urgent travel

If you need your visa as soon as possible, 1-hour Priority Processing is available.

This option is useful if:

  • Your trip is very soon
  • You booked travel at the last minute
  • You want faster processing

Priority processing can be selected during the application.

  • Passport expiry date is less than 6 months away

Missing or incorrect PDF documents:

  • Some travelers forget to upload required PDFs or upload the wrong file
  • eVOA applications need proof of return or onward travel
