Indonesia eVisa for Australians

Australians can apply online for an Indonesia visa for stays of up to 30 days or 60 days. Both are single-entry visas and must be used to enter Indonesia within 90 days of issue.

There are 2 online visa options. The main difference between the 2 types is how long you can stay.

  • B1 30-day Tourist Visitor visa
  • C1 60-day Tourist Visitor visa

Australians traveling with an online visa can enter the country through air, sea, and land ports of entry.

There are direct flights from Sydney and Melbourne to both Jakarta and Bali.

On arrival at these airports, immigration officials will check your passport and verify your visa. You could also be asked for a return or onward travel ticket so make sure you have this with you.

Yes. Australians can still get a Visa on Arrival at eligible Indonesian entry points, including when arriving through airports that issue the VOA, rather than applying online before departure.
