What Is the SATUSEHAT Health Pass (SSHP)?
The SATUSEHAT Health Pass was an official Indonesian travel document introduced to monitor and manage the potential risk of Mpox associated with international travel.
To help entry systems run more smoothly, the requirements for travelers to Indonesia were updated in mid-2025. Authorities have created a new online form, the Arrival Card, which includes both a health and customs questionnaire.
It’s now the only document you need to fill out when preparing to visit Indonesia, aside from your visa application, if required. You need to complete a new Arrival Card each time you travel to Indonesia.
Do You Still Need the SATUSEHAT Health Pass?
The SATUSEHAT Indonesia Health Pass is no longer required, as the system has been updated. It’s now mandatory to complete the Arrival Card instead:
- Legal requirement: All international travelers, including children, must complete the Arrival Card before entering Indonesia.
- Health monitoring: The health declaration included Indonesian authorities monitor and manage the risk of Mpox, helping keep everyone safe.
- Quick entry: Completing the Arrival Card online means less hassle at the airport, as you’ll already have your QR code ready to show authorities.
Can I complete the Indonesia health form at the airport?
It may be possible to complete your Arrival Card when you get to the airport in Indonesia. However, this involves waiting in line and delays your arrival process.
Complete the form online before you travel to get your approved health and customs QR code so that you can pass through passenger checks quickly and efficiently.
Who Needs to Complete the Indonesia Health Form?
Every traveler entering Indonesia, regardless of nationality or age, must fill out the Arrival Card, including the health questionnaire.
If you’re traveling with children, you can complete the form on their behalf. Simply include their details while filling out the application, and you’ll receive a QR code for each family member.
Which other documents are required?
When you arrive in Indonesia, be ready to show the authorities:
- Valid visa
- Bali Tourist Tax if visiting the region
- Completed Arrival Card QR code
It’s no longer necessary to fill out a separate electronic Customs Declaration. The Arrival Card includes this information.

What Happens If You Don’t Fill Out a Health Declaration?

Immigration officials require the QR code generated by your SSHP application as part of their health and travel checks.
Avoid unnecessary complications by making sure your form is ready before you travel.
