What Is the Indonesia Arrival Card?

You must complete the Arrival Card form online before you travel. Once approved, you’ll receive a QR code to show at Indonesian immigration and customs checkpoints. It’s the only document you need to complete to give health and customs details.
Important: The Arrival Card is not a visa. Visa rules for Indonesia are not related to your health and customs form. If you need a visa, apply in the usual way.
Why Indonesia Unified the Health Pass and Customs Declaration
Previously, travelers entering Indonesia had to complete two separate passenger forms:
- SATUSEHAT Health Pass (SSHP): Now phased out
- Electronic Customs Declaration (e-CD): Now phased out
Managing both forms created confusion and delays. To make the process more streamlined, Indonesian authorities decided to merge both forms into one document. This is known as the Arrival Card.

What information is needed for the Arrival Card?
The Arrival Card contains questions on your health status and the goods you’ll be bringing into Indonesia. Make sure to answer the questions fully and accurately.
For the health declaration, you’ll be asked about:
- Symptoms you may be experiencing, such as a fever, or skin rashes
For most travelers, there’s no need to upload a vaccination record. If you’ve recently visited a region where Yellow Fever is endemic, a certificate of vaccination is required for travel.
For the customs declaration, you’ll be asked about the luggage you’ll bring into the country and its contents. You must declare:
- Currency over the value of IDR 100 million (around USD 6,000)
- Gifts for people living in Indonesia worth over USD 500
- Alcoholic beverages of more than 1 liter
- e-Cigarette liquids over 30 milliliters
- Tobacco products over the permitted duty-free quantity (200 cigarettes, 25 cigars, 100 grams of loose tobacco)
- Cell phones, tablets, or laptops that will be registered with the IMEI cellular network (using a local Indonesian SIM)
How to get and use the Arrival Card QR code
Once your form is submitted, a QR code will be generated automatically. Our team will send it to you by email. Have it ready to present to immigration or customs officers upon arrival.
You can carry a printed copy, or download and save the code to your mobile device. However you choose to store it, your QR code is required to show you have successfully completed your passenger declaration. Without it, your entry could be delayed or refused.
